The Idaho Gem Club, Inc. was organized to promote mutual, educational and scientific interest and benefits of its members and the general public. To promote the interests of its members and the general public in mineralogy, geology, gemology and the art of lapidary science.

. (IGC) is affiliated with the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies (AFMS), and the Northwest Federation of Mineralogical Societies (NFMS).
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at
Maple Grove Grange Hall

Executive Board meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at

(IGC) was organized to promote education, encourage lectures and demonstrations in the various branches of gathering, cutting polishing, displaying, and uses of precious and semi-precious stones, fossils, petrified woods, and minerals. (IGC) is a Non-profit organization under Section #501(C-3) of the IRS.
